Colossus Fallen The Finale
Four hours later I was redressed in an emerald-green robe embroidered
with deep-scarlet. All of the king's soldiers were already on their way
to the malevolent keep and by then i was ready to leave aswell. A short
time later I arrived at the tower. All of the Silent Chaos army were
standing as a human barricade. I turned to Fáine and stated "If all of
your men attack now, I and perhaps one other should be able to break
through the formation and get to the top floor"
"Good strategy my boy!" Fáine Exlaimed. He raised his sword to the skies
and suddenly dropped it to point forward and bellowed "Attack!". The
army burst into li

The burly knight tapped his sword once more. "Alright" I sighed, defeated.
Fáine then asked me a few questions like: my name, my father, my rank. He
obviously knew my job. I answered truthfully, wary of the consequences if
I were caught lying. Fáine hummed as he thought and then he stated "Hawke
Dago Soran huh?, he was a fine warrior and assassin"
"What?" I asked, startled "You knew my father?"
"Ofcourse, he was my finest guard" A look of disappointment flashed across
Rïn's face. I smirked. Fáine sighed "Unfortunately he found his final
resting place on the last assignment I gave him. I lost a good friend that

My eyes opened slowly and reluctantly; a much weaker pain surged through my
shoulder. I stood up. I saw that my shoulder was bandaged and my robe was
stained red by my own blood. Quite suddenly I felt ravenous and was relieved
to find a meal on a table. I was in a cell in the palace gallows. A guard dressed
in full-body steel armour walked by the sturdy iron bars of my cell and stopped
directly infront of me. "Oh good you're finally awake" he said in a sarcastic yet
relieved tone "The king wishes to see you...now" he continued. I didn't bother to
resist and walked willingly to the throne room with my hands tied behind me. The

Fáine entered the great castle and I quickly drew my crossbow. I leapt from behind
the pillar where I hid and shot the two guards in the back. And as if the gods
themselves were responding to it, a blinding flash of lightning accomppanied with a
roaring clap of thunder clashed in union with the second guard hitting the ground.
Then a huge rainstorm poured instantly, a volcano of water and lightning erupting in
the sky. Fáine's voice boomed "Guards, seal off the castle". I Panicked, looking
around to see what he meant. Long planks of wood laid by the illuminated pit that was
the royal throne room that were definately too heavy

My name is Hawke Soran. Named for my father; Hawke Dago Soran who died on an
assassination mission twenty years ago. I am thirty years old and six foot in size.
I have naturally snow-white hair and deep blue eyes. I originate from the
clan Sorath that has been forever grounded in the great nation of Arovan. I have no
siblings and my mother, Nedra Soran died around eleven years ago, leaving me with
no blood ties what so ever. In childhood I was always teased for my abnormal hair
colour and I even remember members of my own family 'discussing' it. They would
say "It's not normal" or "It's a bad omen" annd alot of other things i don't car

Sitting quietly on top of Arovan's most impressive structure, the royal castle,
assessing my situation but ofcourse there were guards up there too so I had
to stay hidden. In a moral dilemma I was under more pressure than I had ever
been in my life. The open-roofed throne room had a very relaxing feeling to it.
The soft, silky curtains and the smooth, lustrous, golden ornaments and artifacts
combined with the blood-ruby, velvet carpets emitted a hypnotic sense of calm
and comfort. The king had always been a good man to Arovan, honest and true. Why
would Vannesk, the man that had always treated me like a son, put me on this

"Rise my brother, you especially should not bow to me" he said in a solemn voice, he
took a short breath and continued "You are my equal, if not better and if not for my
noble blood you would have taken over me by now, so please my brother, rise"
I ascended from my knees and replied "Thankyou lord Vannesk, but may I ask thee
what is it you wish of me?". His face suddently changed from it's ordinary neutral-
state to what I can still only describe as a cross between resentment and
melancholy. He looked down and carefully prodded a small, innocent flower with his
foot as not to kill it. In a hushed, almost fragile voice, he said "Brother

I was assigned a career as an assassin eighteen years ago, a welcome change to the
simple life of a farm boy. After twelve straight years of advancing in rank and skill,
they said I was the best, they said I had the eyes of a vigilant eagle and the
patience of a stalking cougar. I was the heir to the throne of the 'Silent Chaos'.
I thought about what it would be like as I trained; to command the largest,
most skilled and, most of all, secretive army in the world today. As I slashed and stabbed
at the grained and brown training dummy that bled out sand from many different
wounds and gashes. A figure shrouded in black-clad armour tread s
